Inidgo - Presentation
Iñigo Azpitarte is a poet-turned-songwriter, whose songs are grounded in the transmission of emotion, with his thunderous stage presence and unmistakable gravely voice.
His songs range from intimate folky ballads, performed alone or in duo with female vocal accompaniment, to footstomping jazz-rock fusions with his band Indigo Quartet.
Most of his songs are autobiographical, touching on topics like falling in and out of love, and reveal his idiosyncratic perception of the world around us. These topics are tackled seriously and emotionally in his intimate ballads, wheareas the songs performed with the band take a more ironic and cheeky tack.
Indigo can be found performing alone or with Indigo Quartet in various venues in Guipuzcoa now.
